it would seem that despite people having the proverbial million and one things to moan about when you ask that they put these down in words on paper or an e-mail that, by the time they have finished their moan the moment has passed and the words become deleted, at this early stage I have little doubt that to collect one million moans and gripes would not su much be an impossibility but would require a huge amount of time and money seeking people to pass their woes on so, in keeping with the way of the artist a change in direction comes early on in the project and now sets forth to collect one million words of wisdom, these are much more readily available and, ever the optomist, would be a much happier pastime than reading pages and pages of woes.

What I am looking for

A trouble shared is a trouble halved, share your woes with others in a spectacular collaborative artistic endeavour that will hopefully see one million moans, groans, whinges, whines and personal tragedies exhibited at a major uk venue, currently I am looking toward the Baltic centre for Contemporary Art in Newcastle, England tho this is yet to be finalised

As much as possile I would like the issues raised to be orientated toward the Public Utilities, Electric, Gas, Water and Telephone, Rail and Public Transport, in fact any of the Multi-Billion Companies that hold ordinary people to ransom by being the sole providers of some our most important necessities in life, even Government issues are welcomed for it is the system of Government that keeps 'mr and mrs normal' out of Parliament, the list, Im sure is endless. so please, keep them coming.

The artist charles will be collating all of your names and one-liners for this exhibit, the format is a matter of ongoing research and development and will be there for you to view in my personal BLOG as the project progresses over the coming years.

Real People have real Issues. This is the point where those issues can be brought to the eye of the General Public only through art, where questions can be raised where an individual can excercise their right to Freedom of Speach, sign up or sign out.
