TheOneMillionProject is an online collaborative art instalation/National UK Tour (circa 2015), an organic project that will evolve on line, as far as I am able to find, a first on the Internet, the entire process will be charted including all research, communications, construction, planning, constructing and, of course, ongoing information regarding the funding of a multi million pound project.
This Website is established 21st December 2008 and will run until 21st December 2014 by which time, it will have fulfilled 3 functions;
1. To collect 1,000.000 personal individual comments One million individuals comments are needed on their own personal woes living in 21century Britain, the voices of real people which will be transcribed (in a format to be decided later in the project) as the key part to an Instalation
2. To provide a concise reference The entire project will unfold as ongoing Research and Development guides the projects outcome, it is hoped at this moment to chart the planning and implimentation of all aspects of my artistic vision, also as an on-going reference for those who would become the financial investors in this project.
3. as an historical document, this site therefore will act not only as a record of the entire project but also as a reference point for students and for other artists who may also be considering such a project.
